Seoul travelogue 2014 day 2

It was planned as a free and easy day with brother in law to wherever he brings us to.

First station : Namdaemun market

Our first meal of the day : Pork knuckles

i was amazed that the meat was real tender but my husband doesn't know how to appreciate the food there hahaha

i was watching '' you who came from the stars '' on the tv with those ahjumas and laughing together with them when there are no subtitles (i finished the drama in sg)
jiefu was astonished once again that i understand korean lol!
no la... haha

Nadaemeun is actually side by side with Myeongdong so we shopped around there for awhile and went to shop for MCM.

always wondering if they need to work haha!

we then headed to explore Dongdaemeun

we took subway for the whole time for our Seoul trip with just a few trips of cab rides.

their culture of respecting the elders are so obvious that a 60+ years old will give up theirs seats to 70+ years old

and even though you are allowed to eat in the trains, it is not dirty nor smelly at all.

we shopped alittle at Dongdaemeun and rested our feet at HOLLYS COFFEE

jiefu went back home after coffee and we continued exploring around .

do note that not all shopping malls are opened during day time as most malls are opened from 8pm onwards

jiefu taught us to take a bus back to his place during dinner time and we did it!

just 4 stops away anyway=x

DINNER TIME!

jiefu brought us to have Dakgalbi near his apartment

best for cold weather and we are glad that most servers speaks chinese :)

their seaweed really tasted da bomm!

loved the fragrant mixture of chicken,rice and seaweeds!

satisfied meal

and because we did not know where to go during the night so we went back to Dongdaemeun as we wanted to explore those malls that operates at night

i have concluded that the best malls to shop at Dongdameun will be Migliore , Hello apm and Doota

More trendier to my preference but pricing not really cheap though..
pricing varies from sgd$20 to maybe up to sgd$100 range ?
its not that kind of wholesale that we are looking at compared to bkk=x
but it was still a nice experience though

my mafia feeling super cold haha

we ended the night with super long walks :)

Seoul travelogue 2014 day 1 (Free & easy)

Finally am jotting down our seoul travelogue

19 February - 27th February

Weather : -4 degree to 10 degree

i was lucky that SQ had some fare deal and i got the flight tickets at 1.2k plus for 2pax which means return flight was 600 plus for 1. super happy to have gotten this deal!

we settled our accommodation over at bro-in-law apartment as he was working there as a chef at Shilla hotel.

i heard that once we reached airport we will feel the cold so i standby wear thick thick already haha!

7 hours flight

by the time we reached Incheon airport was already 10pm korea time and i could already felt the coldness on plane during sunset

we went to rent our olleh egg ( i did all my research before hand )

then we took a cab back to jie fu's apartment at 80,000krw (approx SGD80)

we had no choice as there were no more bus at that time.
the feeling of talking outside the airport with air coming out from the mouth was amazing lol!

once we settled down and unpack our luggage a little we went for food!

it was past mid night anyway and the wind was so scary at -2 degree
