Though the betrothal wedding cakes should be settled by my hubby but i decided i should make the research for him:)

After much considerations,we decided to go for Sweeheng's wedding cakes as our theme are kinda old school so those old school cakes works just fine!

moreover i like their box designs, i care more about the packaging lol!

There is a lot of things i do not wish to hear or see,so many things that is beyond my control

Marriage is not only about 2 people anymore, its about 2 families

I love how my hubby's family is so close together, so united at times,unlike my family that adapted the culture of updating once in awhile.

But when everything is so close, it tends to lead to a lot of miscommunications.

i hate that when we have to explain from one people to another

I know my hubby for 7 years but his family known him for 33 years and they should understand that is him, the same old him as always but they just like to complain to me about his behavior which i have already adapted and accepted.

What can i do?

i just hope everyone is happy but i can't please everyone

we had been seeing each other almost everyday without fail and i never get sick of seeing him and never enough(unless quarrel time) haha!

nevertheless he is the one i want to spend the rest of my life with even though i feel like punching his face at times :)

Egg benedict for dinner

My hubby is egg lover and i thought he will love this dish

He came back really late from work and i was waiting for him till i prepare the hollandise sauce cause the sauce can only stand for the most 1 hr before bacteria start to grow because its raw egg sauce.

it looks really simple but its a hard dish to prepare

you will have to get the right timing of the poached eggs and hollandise sauce can be a disaster.

nevertheless im glad he loved it:)

Brunch at Fortyhands

Met up with shuxia(my dessert table stylist for wedding) for brunch

Decided to try out fortyhands but i feel kinda bad cause the cafe is only located under my block=x

my dear ah xia is so thoughtful and meticulous in her work, she showed me proposal and superimposed images she did for the dessert table

i'm like the client, feel so loved man!

 

so looking forward to the table already =x

 

brunch was so-so, the flat white was quite good though

 

we then cafe hopped to FLOCK cafe which is also minutes away from my place=x to have some good gossiping 

we can really talk non-stop hahahha but i enjoyed quiet chilling days like this

 

one smoothie each and we sit and chatted for hours
